With roots in the most southern reaches of South America, Luz de la Concha revels in a striking narrative style inspired by magical realism, shape shifting, and rebellion.Her signature act “La Diosa de Oro,” (The Golden Goddess), honors Conchita Cintrón a Chilean-Peruvian torera, the most famous woman bullfighter in history. In 2019, Luz was a a featured performer at the Oregon Burlesque Festival and the inaugural Panama Burlesque Festival. In 2018, Luz performed in Argentina’s first international burlesque festival ‘Salvaje’ in Rosario, Argentina. In 2018 she also featured in ‘Azucar: A Celebration of Latin and Hispanic Heritage’ in Olympia, Washington and The International Latin and Hispanic Burlesque Festival in Orlando, Florida. Luz debuted her signature act at De Colores Cabaret: All Latin Revue, in March 2017 in Portland, OR. Be mesmerized by Luz de la Concha, the statuesque Latinx.
