Miss Scarlet Conte is a Bay Area-based circus and variety performer, who loves too many performance styles to limit herself to just one. She began as a storyteller, branched out into theater, and then leapt into the circus as an aerialist and bellydancer. Her performances have surprised and delighted crowds in venues ranging from seedy bars to black-box theaters to the Texas Burlesque Festival.

In her prior home of Austin, TX, she was a founding member of Austin’s Burlesque for Peace, co-produced Animalesque and Carnivalesque, and danced aerial go-go with the Jezebelles Dance Troupe. In the Bay Area, she founded Bionic Vixens Revue, San Jose’s first burlesque troupe, was lead aerial silks instructor with South Bay Circus Arts, and currently performs as a soloist around the area.
