The Art of Hosiery

Class Description: Learn how to peel with panache. In this class you will learn the beautiful and colourful history of hosiery, how to decipher those mysterious terms they put on the packaging, sample the different textures and styles and learn to take them off. Stocking removal can be a deadly serious act of mesmerism or add another level of completely unexpected humor. Don't leave this weapon of mass distraction undiscovered. Students will need to bring a pair of garter hose that they can practice with. A garter belt if they would like to learn the trick of one handed opening of the garter clip, and wear clothing that they can access the garter belt and hosiery in...i.e a skirt or shorts. No fishnets please!

Class Description: Learn techniques of singing and stripping simultaneously with Abby GoLucky. Abby holds a Masters of Music in Vocal Arts from the University of Southern California Thornton School, and began her burlesque career in Hollywood with Empowerment in Heels. In this class, she will discuss mic technique, song structure and interpretation, and how to craft unique acts that showcase your strengths and passions. The class will be half lecture and discussion, and half movement with partner and group exercises. Bring note-taking materials, or an outline of the lecture will be provided.

Class Description: Roll into Beginner Floorwork is a Shoulder Roll intensive and beginner/intermediate floorwork combo class.
The focus for this class will be how to start training your to get a shoulder roll and add some fun varations to toss in your own flow for those that already have it through a spicey little combo!

Class Description: Get a lil’ soft and sacred time to write in glittery community. A generative creative writing class geared towards pleasure, and all levels of creative writing experience. We will begin with optional gentle guided movements that can be adapted for seated bodies. Then we will drop into writing with a few guided prompts. A few minutes at the end will be dedicated for Q&A to share practical tips (such as how to get started with a sustainable writing practice, how to put yourself and your writing out there via submissions, etc.). Bring pen, paper, water, tea, cozy clothes, etc. Leave your critic at the door. We won’t bare our booties in this class, but we might bare our souls.
